| In the Garden - Thomas Dewing |
Friendship is the unbroken strand.
A strong rope, twined together,
rarely apart.
It never gets old with age.
The unbendable love of deep souls,
Spring--always blossoming,
Willing for fresh starts,
Like the sea, full of
High tides, low tides, and smooth courses.
It's charity--always supporting, lending,
the extended hand.
Friendship is fragile;
Like glass, one crack and it
shatters.
Delicate as a spider's web,
The chain of friends may be driven apart
by age,
But reunited by time,
Friendship is strong,
Like the unbroken strand,
Which never frays.
