We all bear the burden of light
Exposure, exposing us with our marks and tears
Here, a shock! of blonde hair, with a bridge of black
across the mane
There, a lone black leather glove, an index finger curled
A stray, skinny black belt—silver buckle—loop de looped
Small, crumbling stone steps in a subway station and
Knee-high black leather boots that shine—under neon
