Reflected Sea

Street lamps reflect the ice
                                   on the grass
My heart is stuck in its frozen
                                              palace

Waves upon waves of dented glass
                       reflect eerie
                                   whitish-black
The struggles of my heart peak
                      but       frantic       pools at the
                                                  trough

There lies the unmelted, the hard,
                                             the   dangerous
What chills, what clings, what channels
                   into my
                                 (he)artic
                                 caverns
