Note: One of my absolute favorite poets is the late A.R. Ammons who wrote "Glare" (the book, lent to me by my intuitive advisor, influenced me in college) and "Brink Road." He is adept at writing very short poems, haiku-like bursts that I admire. In honor of his birthday, I dedicate this poem to him.

Flatter
is the anagram of
Falter—
minus the ‘t’
