Girls again, giggling, waiting for the subway,
naked and semi-naked legs stretched
into, and falling out of, patent leather heels
Back to college in their black tops, the
basic color of cosmopolitan chic, hiding
flaws and revealing silhouettes
Full shapes, already bloomed, know
they are peaking their prime, a more
radiant version always unlayering
The bouquet of girls beckon with youth,
still waiting to explode with discovery
